OPENING OF BIDS
Bids received in response to this RFB will be opened by the City of Eugene on the date and at the
. — time specified in the Schedule of Events. The bids will be read and recorded at that time.
Information available as a result of the opening will be Bidders name, and summary purchase bid.
No evaluation will be done at the opening, and no other information concerning the individual
response will be given. No bid will be accepted after the opening begins.
ACCEPTANCE OF BID
The contents of the bid of the successful Bidder will become part of the final contract with the
City.
Failure of the selected Bidder to accept these obligations as a result of the award of the bid by
contract, or similar acquisition instrument, may result in cancellation of the award.
AWARD OF CONTRACT
Award is anticipated to be made by April 7, 1995, by written notice to the Bidder whose proposal
substantially complies with all prescribed requirements and specification.
During the evaluation period, no changes in price of the bid will be allowed. The City reserves
the right to sign any document necessary to protect prices, removal schedules, interest rates, or
any other critical factor contained in a Bidder's proposal, provided that action is not binding on
the City unless and until a contract is awarded to the Bidder.
5
