The
project is not listed in any funding schemes in the current CIP. We haven't even been able to get many of
the HIGH priority items from the P &R Plan funded in past years CIP efforts. With the new CIP format, used
the last couple of years, which makes only the category "B" funding available for improvements or
enhancements (and those funds spoke for many times over) it is unlikely this project would get very far
even if we skipped the competing HIGH priority items from the P &R Plan.
Thanks
Johnny
From: SMITH Terry M
To: PATRICK Tim W; MEDLIN Johnny R; JOHNSON Jim R; HAMMITT Bob
Subject: Petersen Park Project
Date: Monday, June 19, 1995 2:38PM
I hope this ties up the loose ends on this. I talked to Mike G. & he says
that Pat has an idea that Bethel SD can pay for the project out of their bond
levy. MG is calling Hunsacker to see if they can do that & we'll do the
project if they can. Johnny, am I correct that this project is in our plan
but is not funded in future years in the CIP? When I here from MG about the
result of his conversation, I'II let you know. Jim, I told Mike that someone
in PW can do the IGA with Bethel SD - its ok w/ me if you want to do it to
build some ties w/ the SD.
Page 1
