OWEN ROSE GARDEN <br /> Our typical rental for this site is the use of the garden as a backdrop for weddings, picnics, <br /> meetings, etc. <br /> NO ELECTRICITY is available at Owen Rose garden. <br /> Only rental chairs with "skid type" legs can be setup on turf areas. The garden staff DOES NOT <br /> set up chairs, however they should be contacted to coordinate areas of placement. Chairs cannot <br /> be set up on areas other than turf or hard surface areas. <br /> The key for locking and unlocking the cyclone fence storage area needs to be picked up at 1820 <br /> Roosevelt PRIOR to the event and is the renter's responsibility to return. <br /> There are no longer facilities available for changing clothes other then utilizing the restroom <br /> facilities. <br /> All other rules of commercial use of the building apply; insurance agreements, etc. There is no <br /> alcohol or glass containers allowed in the park. <br /> Renters may set up chairs and canopies and may do so by permission only - site set up and wet <br /> grounds are issues that need special consideration. <br /> Amplified sound is prohibited, although renters may ask permission for "quiet" music or sound. <br /> There is a 50 PERSON MAXIMUM allowance in the garden area. <br /> COST <br /> $70.00 for a three -hour block of time <br /> $50.00 security deposit/refundable after use <br /> - no fireplace is available <br /> * *chairs are available to rent at Owen. There are 50 chairs at a cost of $30.00. These chairs are <br /> sled based. <br />
