Option #2 Costs <br /> Demolition of existing building. $6,000 <br /> New building. (Total Project Cost) $150,000 <br /> Increased Facility Maintenance $(savings) /yr. <br /> Total: $156,000 <br /> - 07riously if funding for a replacement facility could be identified quickly, <br /> then a temporary change in operating procedures may avoid part or all of <br /> the costs of Option #1. It may well be less expensive to rent a portable <br /> building for interim use as opposed as trying to do a "temporary rehab <br /> project ". However, even if the funds under Option #1 must be expended <br /> this Division still recommends replacement. Replacement will result in a <br /> cost avoidance over the next five years and in a smaller, energy efficient <br /> facility designed for it's intended use. Removal of the existing facility and <br /> re- siting of a replacement facility would also allow for the proper siting of <br /> any future public facility included in the long range plan for this park. <br /> If you need additional information or I can be of further help, please let me <br /> know. <br />
