Option #2 Costs
Demolition of existing building. $6,000
New building. (Total Project Cost) $150,000
Increased Facility Maintenance $(savings) /yr.
Total: $156,000
- 07riously if funding for a replacement facility could be identified quickly,
then a temporary change in operating procedures may avoid part or all of
the costs of Option #1. It may well be less expensive to rent a portable
building for interim use as opposed as trying to do a "temporary rehab
project ". However, even if the funds under Option #1 must be expended
this Division still recommends replacement. Replacement will result in a
cost avoidance over the next five years and in a smaller, energy efficient
facility designed for it's intended use. Removal of the existing facility and
re- siting of a replacement facility would also allow for the proper siting of
any future public facility included in the long range plan for this park.
If you need additional information or I can be of further help, please let me
know.
