Is this a legitimate use of Parks SDC funds? <br /> A: Probably, for the east half of the street, but it's a real weak argument. <br /> There are two issues to consider: <br /> - - SDC's are to be spent on development - related demands on systems capacity. <br /> We would need a determination that development (or growth ?) has created <br /> the need for additional parks services, capacity, and access. <br /> - - The project is included in an approved Plan as defined in Code 7.715 <br /> We also have a concern with constructing a street improvement without assessing <br /> the benefitted properties, when we have several unimproved streets (with some i <br /> nterest in improving them) in the same neighborhood. Those benefitted property <br /> owners would expect the same treatment. <br />
