Timeline Park acquisition is an ongoing work effort
Description Park Planning and Development
Detail The 2006 Parks and Open Space bond measure also provided funding for improvements at
Golden Gardens Park and other park sites. The work at Golden Gardens was completed in FY09.
Significant earthwork lessened the steep grades of the pond banks while improving the natural resource
values of the site and providing for trail access. Additional project development funded by the bond
measure and scheduled for FY09 is the construction of four additional artificial turf athletic fields in
partnership with local school districts. Also scheduled for construction in FY09 are park improvements
at Rosetta Park, Videra Park, and West University Park.
