Sub - committee (John Crane, Renee Grube & Pat Bonney)
Meeting - May 23, 2000 at 1:30 p.m. at Kidsport's Office
Consensus:
For the Youth Sports Parks, the City of Eugene will schedule the time designated as
"Community" use time and 4J will schedule the time designated as "School" use time.
Kidsports (considered Community use) will continue to coordinate time requested for their
programs and other approved youth user groups for whatever sport is currently being offered by
Kidsports (in -season sport).
For all other School District facilities, Kidsports will continue to schedule all Class I users of
4J's athletic facilities for the in- season sport in accordance with the current Youth Organization
Use of Facilities Guidelines. The District's Regional School Enrichment Program Coordinators
(SEPs) will schedule facilities at middle and elementary schools at other times and for other
uses. High schools will continue to schedule their own facilities, but must do so in accordance
with District guidelines. This means all persons who schedule athletic facilities will need to be
familiar with the "Youth Organization Use of Facilities Guidelines" and the "Community Use of
School Facilities Guidelines ".
