Field Permits <br /> General Use Permit - A general use permit is required for activities such as practices, <br /> games, and sports camps. <br /> Special Use Permit - A special use permit is required when: <br /> • admission is controlled. <br /> • the event is advertised as a public event. <br /> • canopies, tents, booths, or stages are erected. <br /> • amplified sound is requested. <br /> Priority of Use <br /> Field use permits are issued based on the following, priorities: <br /> 1. City of Eugene and Eugene School District 4j- sponsored events. <br /> 2. Approved youth user groups <br /> 3. All other rentals <br /> NOTE: Youth athletics generally have priority over adult use for field permits. Please <br /> refer to the facility scheduling matrix for actual times that are prioritized for youth sports <br /> programs. <br /> *Traditional turf sports (i.e., soccer) have priority over non -turf activities (i.e., baseball). <br /> Unauthorized Use <br /> The permit must be used for the purpose for which it was issued. Use of the permit for <br /> any unauthorized purpose results in forfeiture of fees and possible sanctions against <br /> the group. Permit must be available on site. <br /> General Field Regulations and Policies <br /> 1. Site and Facility Clean -up - The applicant is responsible for set -up, clean -up, and <br /> any damages to the facilities resulting in its use of the facility. The City of Eugene <br /> will bill applicant for damages or losses in excess of the deposit. <br /> Clean -up includes, but is not limited to: picking up liter, dumping garbage cans, <br /> cleaning up food and beverage spills. <br /> 2. Alcoholic Beverages are not allowed anywhere on City of Eugene or Eugene <br /> School District 4J property. <br /> 3. Use of Tobacco Products - The use of cigarettes, cigars and pipes or the oral <br /> use of tobacco products (i.e., chewing tobacco) is strictly prohibited. <br /> 4. Glass Containers - Beverage containers made of glass are not allowed anywhere <br /> -2- <br />
