If you want to impact the selection of the art, please think about joining the <br />subcommittee. As you all know, this is the group of people who, for more than 2 years, has represented the CPC <br />in issues involved with the 1 -5 bridge. The members have been David, Cora, Dennis, Vicky, Stephen, and myself. <br />Most of the decisions about the design will be made in the next 3 months, so now is the time to join the ad -hoc <br />committee if you want to be involved. <br />When we started this process, we stated that it is imperative that the ad -hoc committee sticks together outside the <br />group, and the CPC support each other to anyone outside the CPC during the entire process. There is millions of <br />dollars involved ($1.5 million just for the art), and that can create some stressful situations. If you do get involved, <br />just know that it's important to do our disagreeing among ourselves and come to consensus, and when we go out <br />and speak about the CPC or anyone involved from the CPC, we are of one voice. The ad -hoc committee members <br />have done an excellent job at this and we have been able to accomplish incredible things for the park because all <br />of the CPC has stuck together.
