I deleted it from my e-mail as soon as I read it, and suggest anybody else who's received it <br /> do the same. Mary was right to read it to Doug if he asked, but Mary and Carrie were also right not to <br /> distribute it. <br /> What I'm feeling like I want to do now is call Tom and ask him why he didn't get with Doug on this as he <br /> said he would. (They were talking to each other after the meeting, but I guess it wasn't about this!) Also <br /> to let him know Doug didn't realize before he left town that the note was about him - -but that he does <br /> now. I understand that we can't connect with Doug again until the 8th, but once he gets back someone <br /> needs to talk with him, as well. He <br /> called to ask about the specific content of the e-mail note <br /> Tom Musselwhite wrote to another person (in Colorado) in which <br /> Tom expresses some very strong statements about Doug. Doug <br /> asked me to read the content of the note I did. After he <br /> heard the content he said he was very shaken by the note. He <br /> told me he wanted to quit the Scobert Park committee because <br /> he felt vulerable and that if someone in the neighborhood did <br /> try to do something positive, they would be trashed. <br /> I understand that at the 11/19 meeting of the Scobert Park <br /> committee, Tom expressed his disappointment that the e-mail <br /> note had not been distributed to members of the committee by <br /> either Carrie or me; and then started to make statements <br /> similar to what was in the note - but was stopped by Marge as <br /> being inappropriate to the discussion of the park. <br /> Just thought you would want to know this. <br /> MW <br /> Page 1 <br />
