Letters were sent <br /> to owners and tenants of properties within the service area of the park, and flyers will be posted <br /> in the vicinity of the park requesting interested parties to apply for positions on the advisory <br /> committee. Applications will be submitted to either Public Works Maintenance or the Whitaker <br /> Public Safety Station by Monday, October 7, 1996. <br /> Selections of committee members will be made by the Public Works department head. We plan <br /> to make a final decision on the membership selection of committee members within a two weeks <br /> after receiving the applications. <br /> V -6 <br />
