Provide stiffer appropriate penalties such as geographic probation, <br /> community service, or other meaningful sanctions for those who habitually break park rules or <br /> laws. <br /> 5. Encourage citizens interested in crime related issues in Scobert Park to work with the <br /> Neighborhood Advisory Board and Whiteaker Community Council <br /> 7. Have social services agencies set up booths for an information day several times a year. <br /> 8. Provide outreach by social service groups providing information on drug and alcohol rehabilitation <br /> programs. <br /> II. Park Design. Aesthetics. Setting. and Plantings <br /> 9. Maintain Scobert Park as it was designed - -keep its unique character as a visual, passive -use area <br /> in the neighborhood. <br /> 10. Provide plaques with information on the plants and trees in the park. <br /> 11. Encourage support organizations such as local garden clubs, youth clubs, or a new "Friends of <br /> Scobert Park" group to adopt the park for funding, volunteering, and maintenance. <br /> 12.
