The neighbors have already <br /> began to circulate a petition requesting such a closure! We <br /> should receive the written request sometime in the next few <br /> days. I told the group last night that a public meeting <br /> should be held to get public comment on the closure and that <br /> City staff should /would need to be in attendance. The group <br /> is aware of the Administrative Order process that is necessary <br /> to take such action. The closure would be only partial in <br /> that they want to keep the community garden area open to the <br /> gardeners(3 /4) with crops about to produce. They want it <br /> closed quickly!!
