Option: Install new wall <br /> supported lavatory with lever valves, 34" high to deck, with 27" high by 8' deep <br /> knee space under lay. Valve to be type that dispenses at .5 gallons per minute <br /> maximum. Insulate pipes under lay. Install 24' x 36" mirror mounted so bottom is <br /> 40" from floor. Install new 17" - 19" high 1.5 gallons per flush toilet or install new <br /> raised toilet seat to raise seat to 17" above floor. Install one 42" long grab bar at <br /> side and one 36' long grab bar at rear of water closet, mounted 34" high to top. <br /> Install 2x4 furring @ 16" o.c. and new drywall at North wall. Block for grab bar <br /> installation & toilet paper dispenser. <br /> Cost Estimate: $1650 - 2400 <br /> Priority 2: (This becomes Priority 1 if above work is not done) <br /> Toilet room at Garage: Install new wall supported lavatory, mirror, and <br /> accessible water closet with grab bars as described above. Refer to Condition Report for <br /> scope of repair work needed. <br /> 10 DRINKING FOUNTAINS <br /> (Need: Persons in wheelchairs need drinking fountains mounted low enough so that <br /> they can reach the spout. They also need to be able to pull up under the fountain or <br /> along its side.
