FINANCIAL AUDIT <br /> SECTION k The Treasurer shall submit all financial records to a disinterested tax <br /> preparer in January so an audit report can be given at the February mating. <br /> SECTION B: The audit report shall cover the period of January 1 tlnv December <br /> 31. All balances and credits shall be affirmed as correct. <br /> SECTION C: If there are any discrepancies they shall be reviewed by the Executive <br /> Board The Board shall present such discrepancies to the membership at a regular <br /> business meeting and the membership shall deride to excuse them, request retribution, <br /> or proceed with legal action u they deem appropriate. <br /> ARTICLE X. NONPROFIT STATUS <br /> SECTION A: No member of Emerald Valley BMX, partici pant, or rider shall <br /> monetarily profit in any activity conducted by the association. <br /> SECTION B: No member of Emerald Valley BMX, or rider shall receive free items, <br /> or services for performing association duties u listed in these by-laws. <br /> SECTION C: Actual expenses incurred by members shall be reimbursed and shall not <br /> exceed actual expense with Board approval. <br /> SECTION 17 A member, participant, or rider shall be allowed to profit from <br /> association activities which will normally be purchased by the association only with <br /> Board approval. <br /> SECTION E: Emerald Valley BMX shall maintain tax exempt status. <br /> Emerald Valley BMX is a nonprofit association and shall not be used for individual <br /> gain except in regular business activities. <br />
