SECTION C: If there are any discrepancies they shall be reviewed by the Executive Board. <br /> The Board shall present such discrepancies to the membership at a regular business meeting <br /> and the membership shall decide to excuse them, request retribution, or proceed with legal <br /> action as they deem appropriate. <br /> ARTICLE X. NONPROFIT STATUS <br /> SECTION A: No member of Emerald Valley BMX, participant, or rider shall monetarily <br /> profit in any activity conducted by the association. <br /> SECTION B: No member of Emerald Valley BMX, or rider shall receive free items, or <br /> services for performing association duties as listed in these by -laws. <br /> SECTION C: Actual expenses incurred by members shall be reimbursed and shall not <br /> exceed actual expense with Board approval. <br /> SECTION D: A member, participant, or rider shall be allowed to profit from association <br /> activities which will normally be purchased by or contracted with the association only with <br /> Board approval and only after competitive pricing and /or bids are received from outside <br /> entities. The member to receive profit for goods or services shall not be involved in the bid <br /> taking, voting on or decision making process regarding those goods or services. <br /> SECTION E: Emerald Valley BMX shall maintain tax exempt status. <br /> SECTION F: Emerald Valley BMX is a nonprofit association and shall not be used for <br /> individual gain. <br /> ARTICLE XI. PARLIAMENTARY AUTHORITY <br /> ROBERTS RULES OF ORDERS NEWLY REVISED shall guide but not be binding on <br /> all questions of procedure and parliamentary law not specified in these bylaws. Final <br /> determination may be made by the Chairperson. <br />
