4 <br /> Updated 1/06/96 <br /> wp:ecc.tel <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> EMERGENCY COMMAND CENTER (ECC) OPERATING PROCEDURES <br /> ECC Phone - 465 -2806 Mobile Phone - 954 -3776 <br /> Temporary Location <br /> The ECC is temporarily located in building 6 between Dave Ritter's and Tina Siria's offices. <br /> Opening Procedures for Building 6 <br /> 1. Go to front desk phone (5220). Dial * *3 to cancel the previously set forward -all. Depress the F -all <br /> button then dial 2806 and wait 5 seconds to forward all incoming calls to the ECC, the forward all <br /> button should light up. <br /> 2. In the ECC you want to make sure that all forward button lights are off. If any of the buttons are lit, <br /> dial **3, **6, and **8 to cancel all of the forwards. <br /> 3. Currently, there is only one phone line available in the temporary ECC. <br /> 4. Contact the Police Department at 5111 and notify them that the ECC has been activated. <br /> IFTHE EVENT REQUIRES A LARGER FACILITY, THE FRONT OFFICE CAN ALSO BE USED AS <br /> A BACK -UP ECC. <br /> Opening Procedures for the Front Office <br /> 1. Go to the ECC phone (2806) and forward all calls. To do this, first dial **3 to cancel any <br /> previously set forward, then dial *3 5220 and wait 5 seconds to forward all incoming calls to the <br /> front office. <br /> 2. Go to Peggy's front desk phone (5220) and take the phone off of forward all. To do this, dial * *3 <br /> (display will say "CNCL "). <br /> 3. Calls will ring in on 5220 or 2803 (Kim/Traci's phone). Those are the only two lines available for <br /> incoming calls. You can pick up an incoming call at any of the front desk phones by dialing *4 <br /> (pick -up). <br /> 3. To make an outgoing call, use a front office phone other than 5220 or 2803 so those two lines are <br /> not tied up with additional calls. <br /> 4. Notify DPS at 5111 that the ECC has been activated. <br />
