r There have been many generous donations toward our project. This is a
unique project and wouldn't be possible without the support of the many
businesses and individuals involved. Local organizations such as Soroptimist
CHILD International of Eugene, Eugene Active 20 -30 Club, Junior League of Eugene,
CARE and many local foundations have financially supported our capital campaign.
I N C We have continued to progress on this important project in good faith.
Since 1968 Many obstacles came up, but we all worked together to resolve them. We look
forward to the time that we can operate from our new facility, able to serve more
High Quality Child Care: families. The need for affordable and accessible care has become an even more
Affordable and Accessible critical issue with the closure of child care centers in the Whiteaker area. Child
for All Families Care Inc. is not only a unique center in our community, serving low- income
Board: families with high quality care, but unfortunately we are now the only certified
K
president center in the neighborhood that is licensed by the State of Oregon Child Care
Pret
Debra Delegato Division.
Vice President
Paul 'Theisen We provide children and families with the specialized services that they
Treasurer need. We work closely with the EC CARES program through the University of
Cheri Peterson Oregon providing opportunities for young children with special needs to have Secretary
enriching experience in a mainstreamed preschool. Our partnership with Lane
Mike Garling County Headstart has further enhanced our ability to reach low - income families
Greg Gerot and has increased our ability to provide extended family services to those in
Bill Hoffman greatest need. In our new center, we will be able to increase the number of
Susan Williams families that we are able to serve in these programs.
Capital Committee:
Debra Delegato, chair Our revised timeline is to begin construction this year, the timing of
McCabe Investments which will depend on the building schedule of our General Contractor as we are
Bill McCabe, chair
McCabe Investments Y beyond g now obviousl be and our original construction time frame. Given the recent
Micheal Roberts ups and downs of the construction community, that we have various groups
Gale Roberts Co., Ina helping with our project that will slow down the scheduling of the construction
Lynn Daniels Anderson phase, and that we have to factor in where we are at in the school year for a
Community Volunteer
smooth transition for families, we believe that planning to have the program
Diane Dugan
Community Volunteer operating at full capacity in the new facility within two years after construction
Steve Gunn begins is a more realistic projection for our project.
Construction Focus
Paul Theisen Thank you for your time and consideration. Please don't hesitate to call
2G Construction
Robin me if you have any questions about our project.
Schspfs Twin Oda Bldrs.
