ment in one site. Since the Lincoln Street site will no longer be
needed for operations, City Council may decide to declare the site
as surplus and sell the property. Additional equipment may be eliminated through the combination of
service delivery and support systems after further analysis.
2. Consolidation of Facilities functions and increased capital project
funding for large facilities maintenance projects in FY94 will
likely allow increased Energy Management enhancements and utilities
savings at the Roosevelt and Cheshire sites.
3. Revenue will be realized from the sale of the Lincoln Street Facil-
ity. This is a 10 acre site with a estimated land value of
$350,000 -to- $400,000, based on recent sales in the area. The
buildings may not be of value to most buyers and are not included
in this estimate.
4. Fleet Fund will save approximately $15,000 by not having to replace
the underground storage tank at the Lincoln Facility. The removal
of the existing tank and clean -up of the soil at the site is still
required.
5. Reduction of the equipment inventory will result in cost avoidance
of the approximate $138,000 required to replace this equipment.
6. Revenue will be realized from the sale of excess equipment.
