Section 7: Field Turf Replacement <br /> City and District shall be jointly and equally responsible to fund the replacement costs of <br /> the Fields' artificial turf approximately in proportion to the amount of each party's use and impact <br /> on the Fields. <br /> Section 8: Participant Fees, Rental Fees, Concession and Ticket Revenue <br /> 8.1 City and District Sponsored Events. Neither City nor District sponsored events <br /> will include a rental charge. <br /> 8.2 Other Reserved Use. The User Committee will determine rental rates that apply to <br /> the use of the Fields and lighting systems. There will be a rental rate for the reserved use of the <br /> Fields, including football, soccer, lacrosse and other appropriate uses. <br /> 8.3 Partner Youth Group Participant Fees. District reserves the right to identify <br /> partner youth groups and charge a per - participant rate, rather than field rental fees. Partner <br /> participant fees collected will be used for maintenance, operation, custodial services, portable toilets, <br /> lighting system utilities at the Fields, as mutually agreed by City and District. <br /> 8.4 Rental Revenue. All rental revenue will be used for maintenance, operation, <br /> custodial services, portable toilets, lighting system utilities and turf replacement for the Fields, as <br /> mutually agreed by City and District. Rental income will be reported to the Maintenance Committee <br /> in May of each year for the previous twelve (12) months of use detailed by field and month. <br /> 8.5 Concession and Ticket Revenue <br /> 8.5.1 Concession and ticket revenue generated by City or District sponsored <br /> events, shall be retained by the respective agency. <br /> 8.5.2 District shall have the right to negotiate hourly rates with user groups for <br /> events not sponsored by City or District. All such revenue will be used for maintenance, <br /> operation, custodial services and lighting system use for the facilities described in Section <br /> 1 of this Agreement, as mutually agreed by City and District. <br /> Section 9: Field Names <br /> District reserves the right to name the two Fields after consultation with City and the User <br /> Committee. <br /> Intergovernmental Agreement 2008 - 01034: Joint Use And Development of Artificial Turf Athletic Fields <br /> Page 6 of 10 May 9, 2008 <br />
