REVIEW AGENDA AND INTRODUCTIONS <br /> Ms. Dougan convened the meeting. Those present introduced themselves. <br /> Ms. Dougan noted that there would be an additional item for action regarding site names. <br /> II. APPROVAL OF JULY 27, 2002 MEETING MINUTES <br /> Mr. Running, seconded by Mr. Corey, moved to approve the minutes of July 27, 2002 as <br /> submitted. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> III. REQUEST FROM MCKENZIE RIVER TRUST FOR MEMBERSHIP <br /> Mr. Gordon outlined the history of the request for membership. He noted that the Wetheads had <br /> recommended approval of the membership. <br /> Mr. Running expressed his willingness to answer any questions from the members. <br /> In response to a question from Mr. Adams regarding the level of membership of the Trust, Mr. Running <br /> said there were approximately 350 members. He noted that they were called members but were in <br /> actuality supporters and donors. He said actual members were part of the executive board. <br /> In response to a question regarding the number of easement holdings, Mr. Running said the trust owned 4 <br /> easements, had just acquired an additional one and were pursuing another near Fern Ridge Dam. He said <br /> the conservation activities of the Trust had increased significantly in the last few years.
