All Divisional personnel, equipment, material, and contractual costs associated
with requests for wetland maintenance or protection should be documented by the
appropriate supervisor for each response. In order to accurately track wetland
related costs and to improve our ability to plan and budget for necessary
maintenance, all wetland activity should now be charged to the same fund, work
type, and activity code. Until such time that dedicated funding is in place for
wetlands management, all costs associated with wetland enhancement, protection,
and maintenance activity should be charged to your DVSW -04 (sewer fund), work
type 366 (wetlands), activity code 216004.
