IV. Public Education and Coordination <br /> 1. Develop Public Information and Education Materials <br /> This project would include preparation of materials and to develop programs and events in- <br /> volving the public, including property owners, citizen groups, and school and university inter- <br /> ests. This would provide support for producing maps, graphics, brochures and othermaterials <br /> associated with the public information program. <br /> 2. Coordination of Volunteer Efforts <br /> This would include support for a coordinator to organize volunteer efforts providing in -kind <br /> services for the restoration projects. <br /> V. U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Technical Assistance <br /> This includes the Service's administration of the grant. For the local area, we would welcome <br /> wildlife assistance and advice from the Service in design of restoration projects, establishing <br /> methodologies and quality control for the studies outlined, and participation in the education <br /> and public outreach program. We would welcome the Service as a partner in our local natural <br /> resources planning efforts. <br /> • .• <br /> 18 <br />
