STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM '
INTERIM DEVELOPMENT GUIDELINES
TECHNICAL MEMORANDUM NO. Draft # 1
conflicts.
This policy directs the City to work with existing City staff and resources to streamline
activities associated with the implementation of CSWMP. The policy further directs the
City to enhance communication with other resource agencies to avoid duplication of efforts,
and communicate the goals and policies of CSWMP. ...
Relevance: Until development standards are adopted and implemented the need for
comprehensive management of the stormwater system requires the City to establish interim
standards for new development. In order to insure the interim development standards are
properly communicated to City staff and other resource agencies, the City must modify
existing procedures for the review of plans for new development. Including the Water
Resources Team in the review process earlier, as recommended in the attached guideline
will enhance communication among City staff and with outside agencies.
Page 14
