RESOLUTION RATIFYING DISSOLUTION ELECTION <br /> WHEREAS, by resolution passed and adopted on August <br /> 15, 1966, the governing body of the McKenzie Water Control <br /> District, including Subdistrict 1 thereof, duly called and <br /> provided for a dissolution election to be held within the <br /> District concurrently with the general election for the State of <br /> Oregon on November 8, 1966, for the purpose of submitting to the <br /> qualified voters of said District for approval or disapproval, <br /> of the measure: <br /> "Shall the McKenzie Water Control District <br /> be dissolved ?" <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the returns of said election have been <br /> ( _ delivered and canvassed by the <br /> y governing body, to wit: the <br /> Board of Directors of said District: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br /> Directors of the McKenzie Water Control District <br /> 1. That the Board of Directors of the McKenzie Water <br /> Control District finds and hereby ratifies and declares the results <br /> of said dissolution election held on November 8, 1966 to be as <br /> follows: <br /> "That on the measure proposed on the ballots, <br /> to wit: 'Shall the McKenzie Water Control District <br /> be dissolved ?' there were 635 votes cast in favor <br /> of dissolution and 332 votes cast opposed to said <br /> dissolution and the Board of Directors of said <br /> McKenzie Water Control District does hereby <br /> declare and certify, by its duly elected <br /> President, that said measure was approved by <br /> a majority vote of the qualified voters of the <br /> r District voting at said election." <br /> 2. That the total number of ballots cast at the <br /> —1— Resolution Ratifying <br /> Dissolution Election <br />
