They make us sweep streets, clean debris, etc. I <br /> believe this is just another attempt to increase an already overcharged system. <br /> Response: The City has authority to require streets to be cleaned. No other requirements <br /> are imposed unless a "nuisance" condition exists. <br /> Public Information Session - November 7, 1995 <br /> The public information session informed the participants about the proposed erosion/construction <br /> site management program and offered a forum for comments. The meeting was held at the <br /> EWEB Training Room, from 7:OOpm to 9:OOpm. Twenty -one registered guests represented a <br /> cross - section of the development community, including civil engineers, architects, landscape <br /> architects, contractors, Homebuilders Association members, and the Eugene Area Chamber of <br /> Commerce. A display advertisement promoting the session was placed in the November 4 issue <br /> of the Register -Guard in addition to the advance mailing of 465 individual postcards. The <br /> following information was available at the meeting: <br /> • Display Panels. Background information and the contents of the recommended program <br /> were displayed in a series of 13 poster panels of text, photos and maps on easels. <br /> • Public Review Document - Draft Erosion Control and Construction Site Management <br /> Practices. This document contains the recommended components of the draft standards. A <br /> copy was distributed to each attendee. <br /> • Comment/Response Questionnaire.
