Basic stump <br /> grinding in house costs approximately $55.00 per hour with clean up. This <br /> price includes 2 FTEs, 1 one ton dump truck, and 1 stump grinder. Most <br /> contracted stump grinding costs $2.00 per inch for the diameter of the stump <br /> with a $40.00 minimum without clean up. Some assumptions will be reflected in <br /> the comparison listed below. Currently our stumps are classified as small (up <br /> to 20 "), medium (up to 30 "), and large (over 30 ").
