ENID5 2.• Page 9
November 4, 1994
NOTICE OF REQUEST TO REMOVE TREES
at 29439 W. Enid Road
Robert Patrick, representing Patrick's Fiberglass Shop at 29439 W. Enid
Road (aka, tax lot 02400, assessor's map 17 04 05 00) has applied for a
permit to remove 22 cottonwood trees from this property. The tree
trunks vary in diameter from approximately 18 to 30 inches with some
being joined at the ground in a common root system. They are located 10
feet east of the fiberglass shop buildings, in a north -south alignment.
The primary reason for the removal is to eliminate the hazard they pose
from limbs falling on existing structures and utility lines.
In accordance with Eugene's Tree Preservation Ordinance, all owners and
occupants within 200 feet of this site are being given 15 days from the
date of this notice to submit any comments they may have regarding the
removal of these trees. Comments are to be in writing and submitted to
the Office of the Urban Forester, Eugene Public Works Maintenance, 1820
Roosevelt Blvd., Eugene, Or. 97402.
Following the comment period an administrative decision will be made
regarding the tree removal request. Any person who provides written
comments on this application will be mailed a copy of the decision, and
if they are dissatisfied with any action granting a permit, may file an
appeal within 15 days of the date of the decision. Any such appeal
shall include the specific basis upon which the appellant asserts that
the decision was in error and filed with the appropriate fee at the
Office of the Urban Forester.
Questions regarding this notice may be directed to John Weber in the
Urban Forester's Office at 687 -5220.
