HAMMITT Bob
From: MEDLIN Johnny R
To: HAMMITT Bob
Subject: FW: Request to remove trees at 29439 W. Enid Road
Date: Monday, November 07, 1994 8:23AM
Bob,
FYI John, did this at my request.
Thanks
Johnny
From: WEBER John J
To: BERRIAN Pam C
Cc: ETTER John F; MEDLIN Johnny R; STASZEWSKI Jan
Subject: FW: Request to remove trees at 29439 W. Enid Road
Date: Friday, November 04, 1994 2:13PM
Pam, As noted below in my note to Bobby, I will Pony to you a letterhead copy of the public notice
on this tree removal request for you to include in the next council packet. I believe this is in keeping with some
of the councilor's wishes that they be aware of any major tree removal requests. Public notice is required when a
removal request involves more than 10 trees. If you need any additional info or need clarification on any of this,
please let me know.
From: WEBER John J
To: GREEN Bobby L
Subject: Request to remove trees at 29439 W. Enid Road
Date: Friday, November 04, 1994 1:38PM
FYI — Attached is a copy of a notice that went out today to people within 200 feet of the above site advising
them of a request to remove 22 Black Cottonwoods. A decision on the request is to be made by Nov. 25th.
These tree are generally in good health, but true to the species they drop limbs fairly easily during high winds.
The owner states that falling limbs have caused damage in the past and that is why he wants them removed.
Cottonwoods are considered a nuisance tree in many locations, however these particular trees are the largest in
the vicinity (approx. 80 to 90 feet high).
I will forward a copy of this notice to Pam Berrian to include in the next council packet.
- John Weber, Urban Forester AIC
«File Attachment: ENID5.2»
Page 1
