The points <br /> covered in these conversations is that our office is not funded to handle the private tree calls and our staff <br /> is telling citizens that such calls can be directed to OSU - extension service or a private arborist. OSU is <br /> willing to take these calls but feels their service is more about current issues (infestations /bugs etc.) and <br /> general horticulture in nature and not detailed specific to trees.. (Unofficially, they are not overly excited <br /> about taking these calls. They feel that they do not have the specific "tree" expertise needed and don't <br /> really want the increased call load.
