In this letter they were notified that <br /> the public information session had been rescheduled from June 17th to July 17th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 <br /> pm in the Hendricks Park shelter. <br /> 6/16/97 - KEZI in error announced the June 17, 1997 public information session. When questioned, they <br /> acknowledged they received the earlier postponement but unfortunately missed this detail in the broadcast. <br /> 6/17/97 - A flyer will be posted prior to 4:00 pm in the shelter notifying interested persons that the <br /> meeting has been postponed until July 17, 1997. A Hendricks Park staff person will be on -site until 5:30 <br /> pm to phone police if the need arises. This person will not be on -site to answer questions or to confront <br /> any protestors. <br /> 6/26/97 - An article regarding Hendricks Park proposed tree removals will go in the weekly Council <br /> Newsletter. <br /> 7/1/97 - Media release <br /> 7/1/97 - Letters and maps of the proposed removals will be sent to the approximately 90 persons on the <br /> interested parties list and to the leaders of the Fairmount and Laurel Hill neighborhood groups. This letter <br /> will notify them of the July 17, 1997 meeting and will state July 7, 1997 as the posting date for trees <br /> proposed for removal. The letter will also state that pending the results of comments received from the <br /> public, a contract for any tree removal *ould be prepared in late July for tree removal tentatively scheduled <br /> for mid August. <br /> 7/7/97 - Trees proposed for removal will be posted. <br /> I have traded voice mails and e-mails with Laurie regarding the meeting postponement. <br /> Page 1 <br />
