Tree Size <br /> a) Trees for residential classed streets shall be a minimum of 1.5" in caliper, <br /> measured 6" above mean ground level, 8'40' in height. <br /> b) Trees for collector or arterial streets shall be a minimum of 2" in caliper, <br /> measured 6" above mean ground level, 10' -12' in height. <br /> c) Trees for all streets abutting commercial zones properties shall be a <br /> minimum of 2" in caliper, measured 6" above mean ground level, 10' -12' in <br /> height. <br /> 3. Tree Condition at Planting <br /> a) Trees can be provided in the following conditions: <br /> 1. balled and burlapped and in wire baskets <br /> A. Trees shall have a sound ball with a firm attachment of <br /> the trunk with the root ball. The trunk shall not be <br /> loose but firmly held within the root ball. <br /> B. Root balls shall conform to the standards and <br /> specifications of the American Association of <br /> Nurserymen, American Standard for Nursery Stock, <br /> currently in use for size and condition. <br /> C.
