planted and established in accordance with the standards and procedures provided for in this <br /> section and the adopted policies of the Urban Forest Management Plan. Street trees shall be <br /> planted in accordance with the approved street tree plan as each lot or area is developed and shall <br /> be required on streets that abut the development as well as on new streets within the development <br /> site. <br /> A street tree plan shall contain: <br /> 1. Desired spacing of trees shall average 30 curb feet on center along all existing and <br /> newly created streets within or abutting the development site while meeting the <br /> location standards contained herein. <br /> 2. Identification of species to be planted. Species must be from the adopted street tree <br /> list or otherwise approved by the Urban Forester. <br /> 3. Method the developer proposes on how to meet species diversification and native <br /> species goals. (Urban Forest Management Plan Policy 1.0, 2.0, & 7.0). <br /> 4. Size and quality of trees must meet or exceed the standards adopted in these <br /> administrative rules. <br /> 5. Location of all driveways, sidewalks, and public and private utilities. <br /> Utilities shall include <br /> 1. Water <br /> 2. Electrical <br /> 3. Natural Gas <br /> 4. Telephone <br /> 5. Cable TV <br /> 6. Street Lights <br /> 7. Sanitary sewers <br /> 8. Storm sewers <br /> 6. Method the developer is going to use in tracking development of each individual lot <br /> to ensure street trees are planted. <br /> 7. Method the developer is going to use to ensure maintenance, protection, watering <br /> and initial structural pruning takes place. Including: <br /> A. A three year maintenance schedule showing projected dates and amount of <br /> water to be provided to the trees to meet the establishment standards <br /> contained herein. <br /> 2 <br />
