7.995 Penalties - •Specific. <br /> (1) Violation of section 7.665 to and including section 7:670 is punishable <br /> by a fine of a minimum of .$100,00 to a maximum of $4,000.000 for each tree - removed, or <br /> confinement in, jail not to exceed 100., days, or both fine and imprisonment. addition, the <br /> city attorney, upon request of the city manager., shall institute; any necessary legal <br /> proceedings to enforce the provisions of sections 7.665 and 7;670 of this code. <br /> (2) In addition to any penalty that may be imposed under subsection (1) <br /> of this section, -'a person who wilfully violates subsection 7.665(2) may be required to pay <br /> to the city a. sum equal to the value of the felled heritage -tree, which shall be calculated <br /> using the methods set forth in the edition then in effect of the Guide for Plant Appraisal <br /> published by the = International Society of Arboriculture Council of :Tree.
