[{e)](b)) Felling of trees that are declared nuisances by the city <br /> under section 6.010 of this code; <br /> [W(c) Felling of trees that are in violation of section 7.640 of <br /> this code;] <br /> [(ei] Any felling necessary to install or maintain improvements <br /> such as streets and sewers within publicly owned and accepted rights -of -way <br /> or utility easements[;]. <br /> [ - • <br /> Section 4. Subsection (3) of Section 6.990 of the Eugene Code, 1971 is amended <br /> to provide: <br /> 6.990 Penalties - Specific. <br /> (3) Violation of section [.. : _ _ - • ' - . _ - - •• .. :] 6.315 is <br /> punishable by a fine of a minimum of $100.00 to a maximum of $4,000.000 for each tree <br /> removed, or confinement in jail not to exceed 100 days, or both fine and imprisonment. <br /> In addition, the city attorney, upon request of the city manager, shall institute any <br /> necessary legal proceedings to enforce the provisions of section [s 6.305 and 6.310] 6.315 <br /> of this code. <br /> Section 5. Section 7.990 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended, and a new <br /> Section 7.995 added thereto, to provide: <br /> 7.990 Penalties - [Specific] General.
