Decision
Based upon the information submitted with your application and a review of the
site, your request to remove trees on your property at 4525 Spring Boulevard
is approved subject to the following conditions:
1. The number of trees to be removed is limited to the 36 trees agreed upon
during my May 5, 1994 site visit. These trees are to be spray paint
marked on the trunk in two places, one where the trunk meets the ground
and the other at a height of approximately 4 or 5 feet above grade.
This marking will aid our site inspection once the trees are felled.
You are to notify this office upon completion of the tree felling.
2. The trees and vegetation within 100 feet of the ridgeling are to be
preserved as much as possible. To this extend you are to leave a group
of approximately 6 firs standing in the southwest corner of the lot. a
group of two large firs and some small vegetation standing just to the
south of your driveway entrance, and basically all the stand of trees to
the north of your driveway entrance, except for the several that were
marked with ribbons.
3. The tree removal operation is to follow the Tree Removal Standards and
General Tree Removal Guidelines contained in Lane Code Section 9.935.
(copy attached and made part of this approval)
Appeal
This decision or any of the conditions may be appealed within 10 calendar days
by the applicant. The appeal shall be filed on a form provided by the city
and must state specifically how the city representative failed to properly
evaluate the proposed tree removal or make a decision consistent with the
applicable criteria. The appeal shall be accompanied by a fee of $100.00 and
submitted at the Permit and Information Center, 244 E. Broadway, Eugene.
Date of decision: May 9, 1994 by:
This decision becomes effective on May 20, 1994 un ess appealed.
