♦ J
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 68 -93 - 2.0
of the
City Manager of the City of Eugene
CONCERNING NOTICE OF INTENDED TREE PRESERVATION FEES
The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows:
A. Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020 and 6.300 to 6.330 of the Eugene
Code, 1971 which authorize the City Manager to determine and set fees and charges to be
imposed by the City for services, goods, use of municipal property, licenses and permits, and
specifically the City's tree preservation permit process, I intend to establish permit and
appeal fees as set forth in the Notice of Intended Fees attached as Exhibit A hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
B. I find that the proposed fees set forth in Exhibit A hereto are consistent with
applicable policies and directives of the City Council, including policies developed through
the Eugene Decisibns process, are based on the City's estimation of the costs associated with
performing the services, and are necessary in order to recover those costs from the
beneficiaries of the services.
On the basis of these findings, I order that:
1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, posted
at two locations at City Hall, be made available for interested persons at the offices of the
City Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, during normal business hours (8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays), and published in the
Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City.
2. All persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as set
forth in the Notice. I will thereafter establish the fees by an administrative order.
Dated this 12 day of October 1993.
',-( ■1110 .j/
cheal D leason
City M. • ager
Administrative Order wane
