Two of the trees are located in the public right -of -way adjacent <br /> to the site. Both street trees are big leaf maples, one on Broadway and one on <br /> Lincoln. Thirty -eight of the trees are within the property lines of the development <br /> site. The removal of the trees is scheduled during the first week of June, 1997. <br /> The trees to be removed will be posted in advance of removal. <br /> MITIGATION: In recognition of these trees' important value to the community, they <br /> will be replaced with 20 to 25 new street trees, which includes some larger, more <br /> mature, trees, on Lincoln, Charnelton, and Broadway . In ddition, approximately <br /> 60 trees will be planted within the project's property line*, and the project will <br /> contribute to the Road Fund's street tree reserve. The replacement street trees are <br /> scheduled for planting in the fall of 1998.
