GOALS <br /> 1. Establish a trusting working relationship between staff of both agencies <br /> base on understanding cw juirements and resources available to each. <br /> 2. Develop a joint awareness between the City and EWEB on the need to be <br /> more environmentally proactive in dealing with tree issues. Conduct <br /> discussions which provide information and educational perspective to <br /> EWEB based on the City's experience of public reaction to work on public <br /> assets which negatively impacts existing street trees. <br /> 3. Explore ways which the City and EWEB can aide each other in: <br /> a) public notification and public education <br /> b) tree maintenance practices <br /> c) tree removals (risk management) <br /> d) planting new trees <br /> e) cooperative funding (funding the other to do specific work) <br /> 4.
