4. In the sixth recital, in the second line, delete "beneath
overhead power lines ", and in the third line, delete
"those ". -
5. First word in paragraph B -3 should be "once ".
6. Paragraph B -4 should be two sentences. The first sentence
should end with "work being performed." The second should
begin with "Public information may include . . ."
So much for proofreading. In paragraph B -3, has anyone
thought of having meetings at the City's option, in case some
jobs aren't worth a meeting?
Is paragraph B -4 the end of the draft? What happens after
public notice? What if the public doesn't like the proposal?
Are alternatives identified? By whom? Then who decides which
one to go with? Is there an appeal route? Where?
Who signs this agreement? What are its effective dates? Is
there a termination clause? Review clause? Escape clause?
Santa Claus? (Sorry, I'm getting carried away.)
Wasn't there some talk about the latest and greatest accepted
tree - trimming method? Is this agreement a way to hold EWEB to
that method?
Are there ever cases where the City wants to trim a tree and
there are power lines in or around the tree, where maybe we
ought to be giving advance notice to EWEB?
Back in the recitals we talk about not planting trees that
might interfere with power lines. How about not installing
power lines that might interfere with trees?
This is probably more than you wanted, but these are only
suggestions. Use those that you find helpful.
Glen Potter
From: Medlin, Johnny
To: Potter, Glen; Norris, Linda; Childs, Jan; Daut, Myrnie;
Andersen, Chris; Lyle, Les
; Reinhard, Dave
Cc: Stansfield, Adrian; Etter, John; Morgan, Dick; Weber, John; Hammitt, Bob;
Staszewski, Jan
Subject: Intergov.
