City Mission: <br />Consistent with Council direction, Governmental <br />Services staff lead the organization in aligning City work with community values and <br />priorities. We support elected officials, promote an informed, involved electorate, work <br />with integrity to ensure City government is open, effective, accountable and inclusive, <br />and ensure organizational performance is measured and documented. <br />2001 -2002 Vision and Goals Statements <br />Eugene is a regional center for education, culture and commerce, and a comfortable, <br />attractive and affordable place to live and work. We value the variety of our safe, livable <br />neighborhoods and the beauty of our landscapes. We respect the perspectives and <br />lifestyles of our active and diverse citizenry.
