Think about the following questions: <br />• What do you see as the single most important thing we'll gain from developing a Citywide strategic plan? <br />A sence of cohesion on some joint purposes amoung staff that currently is not present. <br />• What could we include in the plan /planning process that would increase our chances of achieving what we hope to <br />achieve? What choices could we make that might inhibit the plan's success? <br />To increase: <br />We need to explain why this is needed. <br />We have to find a way show decision makers "what is in it for them" to support this project. <br />We need to find a positive theme for this effort. <br />We need to uderstand how high our goals are <br />To inhibit: <br />Tring to tie in any discussions on budget/personnel reductions/realllocation of resources. <br />Not giving those who wish to be involved a change to at least voice their ideas. <br />Not being dear on who our primanaudience will be for this work. <br />Also, we'll discuss a revised timeline, epiphanies arrived at in informal discussion, and early outreach efforts.
