Project IEP City of cliene- Hatmaker- Johnston <br /> Qualifications and Roles of Key Personnel <br /> Staff is divided into five categories: (a) City of Eugene Administrative Staff, (b) Grant Management and Evaluation <br /> Staff, (c) Architectural Planning Staff, (d) Interpretive Planning Staff, and (e) Education Materials Development and <br /> Production Staff. Biographical sketches for each project staff member are provided below. Staff vitae/resumes are <br /> provided in Appendix C. <br /> City of Eugene Administrative Staff <br /> City of Eugene Wetlands Manager: Scott Duckett is the Wetlands Manager for the City of Eugene in the Public <br /> Works Department. He has a broad understanding of wetland restoration and policies and practices related to on -site <br /> construction and construction project management. On this project Mr. Duckett will: (a) serve as liaison between Project <br /> IEP and the City of Eugene administration; (b) oversee the budget and involved City of Eugene staff; (c) contribute to <br /> interpretive planning, (d) contribute to interpretive and education materials development; (e) participate in evaluation, <br /> reporting and dissemination activities; and (f) attend selected project meetings. <br /> Grunt Management and Evaluation Staff <br /> The Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) will divide the management tasks. The PI will <br /> oversee grant management, project and program evaluation, and education materials development. The Co-PI is <br /> responsible for all day - to-day program activities, to supervise personnel, and oversee the production of project materials. <br /> Principal Investigator & Program Evaluation Director (Contracted by Willamette Resources and Educational <br /> Network): Claudia Hatmaker has extensive experience in all aspects of grant management, program design and <br /> evaluation, budgeting, and curriculum development. Her Ph.D. is in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of <br /> Oregon. She is currently a Resource Developer in the College of Education at the University of Oregon and grant writer <br /> for Willamette Resources and Educational Network ( WREN), the non - profit organization involved in the development of <br /> the wetlands, program Dr. Hatmaker seeks funding sources, writes grants, conducts research, designs and evaluates <br /> programs for non - profits and city governments in urban and outlying areas across Oregon. Dr. Hatmaker is the former <br /> Dir+edor of Program Evaluation at Willamette Family Treatrneent Services, one of Oregon's largest- treatment centers for <br /> women and children. For two years she directed the evaluation of the State of Oregon's kinship foster care system for the <br /> State Office for Services to Children and Families. She served for four years as Director of Foster Care Research at <br /> Oregon State University where she oversaw research in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Health and Human <br /> Services. She is involved with several Lane County environmental efforts.
