We are pleased to inform you that a grant in the amount of $2,500 was approved for <br /> your organization from the The Eugene Veterans Memorial Park Fund of The Oregon Community <br /> Foundation. The foundation's board of directors approved this grant April 201 1. Payment is <br /> enclosed. <br /> Grant Purpose: for the purchase of five new U.S. flags for Skinner Butte Veterans Memorial as needed <br /> for replacement of tattered flags until the end of 2013. <br /> Award Terms: Your organization's endorsement of the enclosed check will constitute agreement to <br /> use the funds as stated above and as stipulated in the following paragraphs. <br /> Grantees are required to notify the foundation of any development that significantly affects the <br /> operation of the organization. Prior approval from the foundation must be obtained for any <br /> modifications to project objectives, site, personnel, timeline or budget. If there are any changes in your <br /> organization's status or tax classification, the foundation must be notified promptly. In the event of loss <br /> of tax- exempt status under federal laws, any unspent funds shall be returned to the foundation <br /> immediately. <br /> The grant period ends one year from the date the funds were awarded.
