Howard Wade suggested that the Committees give us their tentative dates of their next <br /> meeting. <br /> Sandy Vaughan passed out a leaflet on the University of Oregon Women's Soccer <br /> program. Their schedule of events is beginning to fall in place. They are still searching for <br /> a playing site. <br /> South Eugene Boys and Girls Soccer will be going to State. Thurston High School Boys <br /> and Girls also will go to State along with the Girls Volleyball team. <br /> Endorsement of the Sports Plan <br /> U of 0 and the CVALCO Board have endorsed the Sports Plan. <br /> The 4J long range planning committee is considering the question of endorsing the Sports <br /> Plan and will forward their recommendation to the School Board. <br /> Kidsports will be presenting the endorsement at their next Board meeting <br /> Announcements <br /> Eugene Snowcats are open for business and they have had their tryouts. <br /> Sandy Vaughan related to us that the Ice Hockey facility has pushed out the U of 0 <br /> hockey program because of skyrocketing rental fees. It was suggested that the <br /> Commission would be an appropriate forum for arbitrating this kind of problem in the <br /> community. <br /> Jim Denker relayed to the Commission that South Eugene High School is working on <br /> softball fields and if anybody knows where they could get a donation of high quality <br /> loam or sand please call him at 687 -3202 or 687 -3190. <br /> Next meetin' will be at Sprineield Kidsports on November 27th. <br />
