Whiteaker School <br /> This site does not meet criteria for affordable housing landbank acquisition. <br /> The site also does not help to meet neighborhood park service standards, as <br /> residences are already currently served by Sladden, Scobert, and Maurie <br /> Jacobs parks. However, the city recently conducted a Swimming Pool <br /> Feasibility Study which identified the Whiteaker neighborhood as a high <br /> priority area to provide swimming facilities, and the neighborhood continues <br /> to need additional recreation and community services. While there is <br /> currently no funding available for acquisition or development, the city would <br /> like to express interest in the site for long -range planning. <br /> Willakenzie School <br /> The Willakenzie School site presents a number of opportunities, both for <br /> affordable housing and for parks and recreation services. The city would <br /> like to continue to evaluate this site with the school district for how it might <br /> best meet multiple public needs. <br /> Willard /Eastside <br /> The school district has listed this site as "reserve" so it is unclear when it <br /> may become available. City staff have discussed with school district staff <br /> the city's interest in the site for affordable housing. <br />
