Ihre The AGENCIES desire fuel pump access, for vehicles, within 5 minutes of the <br /> time of arrival. This availability is especially important for emergency <br /> services personnel and equipment including; fire trucks, ambulances and law <br /> enforcement vehicles. <br /> The fuel dispensers shall be accessible from either side and approachable from <br /> two directions. Compressed air for inflating tires and water for washing <br /> windshields shall be available at or near the fueling island. <br /> The successful vendor shall provide an Automated Fueling System (AFS) avail- <br /> able for use by the agencies' personnel. The system shall be accessed by <br /> either an optically controlled card and /or manually operated keypad control <br /> unit. Preference will be given to vendors demonstrating compatibility with <br /> the Petrovend Automated Fueling System (The City and County currently use this <br /> system). All fuel shall be dispensed in accordance with Oregon State Law. <br /> Management reports, from the vendor, shall be provided to the respective <br /> agencies in a format that is most compatible with their information needs (eg. <br /> computer files [ASCII format], printed reports as requested by the individual <br /> agencies). The management reporting information shall be provided monthly, by <br /> the 15th of the month for the preceding month's fuel purchases. At a minimum, <br /> the information on each fueling record from the vendor shall include: <br /> Date Time <br /> Site Equipment Number 6 digit <br /> Irhew Operator Number 6 digit Odometer reading 6 digit <br /> Product Units consummed <br /> Unit Price Total service amount <br /> Content of Proposals <br /> In response to this Request for Proposal, proposers shall include the follow- <br /> ing items: <br /> PRICE: <br /> Pricing of fuel received, shall be indicated as an amount below the station's <br /> posted retail price for both unleaded regular and diesel fuels. Prices or <br /> discounts shall be shown to the nearest 1 /10 cent U.S. gallon. Any discounts <br /> allowed for early payment shall be clearly stated in the proposal. <br /> Any exemptions for State or Federal fuel taxes permitted for cities, counties <br /> or local governments shall be deducted by the vendor from the proposed price <br /> discount. (eg. $0:09 per gallon discount from average posted retail price <br /> less $0.18 per gallon Oregon State Gas Tax). <br /> DESCRIPTION OF FACILITY: <br /> A site plan showing the geographic location, ingress and egress to the fuel <br /> islands and the location of the fuel dispensers, air and water shall be <br /> submitted as part of the proposal.
