(kw <br /> REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL <br /> VEHICLE FUEL AND FUELING SERVICE <br /> General Description <br /> The City of Eugene, Lane County and School District 4J (hereafter referred to <br /> as AGENCIES), jointly, are seeking vehicle fuel and fueling service in the <br /> Eugene downtown area. The downtown area is defined roughly by the following <br /> boundaries: <br /> West - Jefferson Street <br /> North - 5th Avenue <br /> East - Hilyard Street <br /> South - 11th Avenue <br /> The following quantities are estimates of the annual fuel use by the three <br /> agencies. <br /> City of Eugene Lane County School Dist. 4J <br /> C ow Unleaded regular 90,000 gal 135,000 gal 20,000 gal <br /> (minimum 87 octane) <br /> Diesel 17,000 gal 0 gal 8,000 gal <br /> ( #2) <br /> The primary users of the fuel service will be law enforcement personnel. <br /> However, other publicly -owned vehicles will also use the facility. The City <br /> of Eugene operates approximately 37 patrol cars, 25 detective vehicles and 30 <br /> miscellaneous City vehicles. Lane County operates 36 patrol cars, 30 detec- <br /> tive vehicles and 64 miscellaneous County vehicles. School District 4 -J may <br /> fuel up to 50 cars and trucks at the facility. The total estimated number of <br /> vehicles requiring the use of the automated fuel services in the downtown area <br /> is 272. <br /> Facility and System Specifications <br /> The fueling facility must be open and fuel available 24 hours per day, 7 days <br /> per week, year round. There shall be a minimum of one commercial dedicated <br /> fuel island available, with not less than two (2) unleaded regular gasoline <br /> fuel dispensers and one diesel fuel dispenser. Notice of any interruption in <br /> this service and /or fuel availability must be given 7 days in advance to the <br /> agencies. <br /> (hist <br /> 1 <br />
