Origin of Service Requests <br />In 2011, we received 613 requests for service from the public, City staff not working in <br />the Vegetation Program, and other agency staff. Of these 613 requests, 597 were from <br />the public. The remaining 16 request were from City and other agency staff including <br />Eugene Police and Lane County. Requests from other service providers, such as Lane <br />Transit District (LTD), 4j School District, and SaniPac, are included in the requests made <br />by the public. While we received 613 requests for service, only 380 of these requests <br />resulted in enforcement. However, some requests for service produce multiple accounts. <br />For example, we may receive one service request for alley obstructions, but generate 20- <br />25 accounts from this one request.
