The situation is slightly more favorable toward a measure as the dollar amount <br />decreases, although even at the $20 million level, support for a parks measure is only <br />marginal. <br />Preferred Option <br />Respondents are evenly split between three options of varying amounts per year and <br />varying number of years; 24% prefer $119 per year for five years, 22% prefer $90 per year <br />for ten years, and 24% prefer $65 per year for twenty years. 12% are unsure, and 19% do <br />not like any of the three options. <br />Distance to Nearest Park <br />Nearly half (49 %) live within one -half mile of the nearest park.
